Signed up recently for a introduction to GLASS.
It has been heaps of fun!
I've made beads, learnt to cut glass and make a little glass coaster. Below, are a pair of earrings done with dichrolic glass (its man-made glass, the shimmers are a result of thin layers of gold, silver, metals) its more frequently used in computer parts but also jewellery because of different colours it reflects.
Decided to name him Gingertail cos' initally his tail was a
ginger-yellow but after it was heated in the kiln it turned
red unexpectedly.
(that's why you can't really see the orange stripes on his tail)
Also, my sister thought he was an OWL?
Now, you can't possibly name an OWL gingertail right?
*just nod your head*
