Caught this programme on National Geographic channel it's called amazing videos. Apparently, Korean delicacies include eating LIVE outopus, which they wrap round a pair of chopsticks, dip into chilli sauce and eat WHOLE! It can't get any more gross than that. Plus, they have to have an iron jaw to chew the eight-legged squriming thing to bits. In some, cases their slimey tentacles with the little sucker pads refuse to let go and stick to the insides of your throat and mouth*shudders*- sadly choking to death a few unlucky people. Why on earth do people risk their lives meaninglessly? Just like for the poisonous puffer fish Japanese love to eat. What else can it taste like? Sea water? Fishy-ness? Unbelievable.

On the train to Bugis when I noticed a guy wearing a uniform with a pin: NUS high school, Maths & Science. Hmm... I do remember that NUS had opened a high school for super brainy kids, but this was the first time I've ever seen the uniform or realised it happened. (><,) Anyway, met Weixin at Bugis MRT and the freakin cut her hair short, as in just touching the shoulders. I have never in 8 years seen her in short hair and she looked good. It was good to see her again after so long. We couldn't find the Spanish restaurant and so ended up at Long John Silver. Oh well. The afternoon was kinda dampened by this push cart lady at Bugis selling perfumes. She was really pushy and inconsiderate. We really liked the perfume and she was selling it at $2 per ml. We thought we'll get 1 ml or 2ml each but no, you HAVE to fill up the whole perfume bottle and once dispensed considered SOLD! That was AFTER she filled 6ml into a perfume bottle. So that cost like $13 but it was Escada Ibiza. Had an interesting time at Bugis street, it's simply overwhelming going there. The sights, sounds and smells are endless. Did you know, you have to pay 20cents to use the toilets, which are disgusting and have no toilet paper? totally unfair!
That aside I had a great time!:)

Aarggh! I've discovered my horrible side-view profile on the Fullstop magazine!! Couldn't they have chosen another photo?!! I hope no one, ever, EVER reads it. Best thing was they didn't call to interview me, no they didn't. I could have given them like a really nice quote, but no one called me. Oh well...
Till then, don't drink soya bean and orange juice together, you'll get a stomache.

Mine's acutually has Greek and biblical origins. Meaning's: 'pure' and 'bright'. lol:)

The modules this semester are really fun! We sure got a whole bunch of pretty cool lecturers too! So far my favourite modules this sem are Issues & Viewpoints, DVPA and IDEAS.
Right now, I'm pretty worried about the upcoming performance for the secondary school kids, coz' 1. I'm standing infront. 2. I've got nothing hip hop to wear that's elastic. 3. I've really got to remember my steps!
Done a little window shopping can't really seem to find the right items. Have decided to do a little virtual shopping at ebay and yahoo...hmmm...of course it's a little more easier but photos can be deceiving too. Oh well, I'll see how it goes.
Can't wait to watch the Exorcism of Emily Rose, by the way it's based on a true story and it was also then the roman catholic church decided set up a course for priests to learn how to exorcise demons. cool huh?! but I'm sure I'll be quivering in my seat during the movie, heard it's pretty realistic and gory.

Happy Deepavali and Selamat Hari Raya to all my indian and muslim friends! We've got 2 holidays to enjoy at the start of my new semester! Wonderful! At least, we can slowly adjust back to school life again. The holidays went by pretty fast. Still working at Sizzler. During my break I pop over to Subway and there's this nice SP grad working there. It's really such a small world! See, I bought a student meal, had to show my student pass and voila! "Oh! you're from Sp too?!.." I absolutely love the sandwiches and the double chocolate chip cookies at Subway. The cookies are heavenly, full of chocolate chips and marshmallows that just melts in your mouth. Yum! my favourite!
My gem module is Scents, Cents & Sense. So we're going to study something relating to the fragrance industry and maybe create our own fragrance. Super! Can't wait!:)
