Ah Common test week...one more week of "freedom".
3 tests spread over 3 days.
It feels like a dream but lasts only for a moment.
An adventure this evening to the hidden recesses of ChangiVillage proved to be an interesting experience. Expecially, since the renovation of the boardwalk supposedly published in the newpapers.
So being inexprienced townies, we hopped on a bus 89 cluelessly and dropped as soon as we spotted the sea and a park.
Thus, began a long walk to our final camping grounds. Passing anglers, admiring jumbo aeroplanes whizzing past overhead, smelling the sea-salt breeze and passing an occasional jogger or lone passer-by.
Light faded into darkness and as we trudged on past the SAF ferry terminal we finally reached our destination- a little sanctuary in a less known and frequented part of Singapore.
Armed with necessary supplies, I flipped opened the mat and proceeded to attack the sushi wih absolute gusto. Besides all that walking certainly made us hungry. yum.yum. Nothing completes a picnic without the chocolate chip cookies, prawn crackers and drinks. And this time, the latest issue of CLEO(dec)! Though I felt that its standard has dropped a lil'. After lazing around, decided to adjourn to the beach side where we lounged around further till it was time to go...
But not before we got someone wet! hehe. too bad nobody did.
oh, but someone did accidentally in the toilet when pressing the shower knob.
"back to civillisation at last!"
thus, ends another fruitfully lazy evening in the harried life of a student.
oOps! I've yet to study for Finance and complete Law elearning assignment. tata!(:
*I never felt more blissful with friends that light up my life in so many dimensions*

This is my 153rd post!
This night was also a spectacular night of heart-stopping performances for SB Talentime 06/07.
Each performance brought me to a new high, better than booze. hehe.
English soloists were amazing, esp. Lydia with her rendition of Unfaithful that was heart-breaking, Shahidah's upbeat medley of 2 songs with an acoustic guitar accompainment got my foot tapping infectiously.
The duets...oh the duets. Every new item was a little surprise that made it such a delight to watch. It helped that most were musical people. People just got creative too, like Natasha broke out in a 'play', plenty of niffty dancing, tutting and groovin from Mel L, Faliq and Natasha. whoa! talk about showcasing talents.
I'm blown away...
Shen's and Syed's Right here waiting for you... just melted my heart.
And-OH- my, the girls- ZAIR('four' in German) just ooozed stage presence with FEVER in their top hats, black stockings and sultry voices.
I swear the guys seating infront of me were leaning too far out of their seats to get a better view. haha.
Our seniors rocked too! African Tequila Monkey's Ocean Avenue...whoa it shook the very foundations of the auditorium.
Gajan and our beat-boxer-to-be Alvin(aka Elf) did an excellent job emceeing the event. I couldn't stop laughing at their funny and somtimes corny jokes. ahahaha!
Not forgetting, Mr Caleb our SB advisor's band- Another Sunday Afternoon. They were pretty good too, with original pieces that sounded quite polished.
whooooo..... it was one night...I'll probably remember for some time.
Who'd ever thought waving lightsticks crazily in the dark, screaming wildly and doing crazy things would be so fun?!!!!!
:D
I'm in love with Marks&Spencers dark chocolate digestive biscuits!
*cough.cough..think I lost my voice from all that screaming:D
who cares?
