Malaysia is so goood....the shopping...left me breathless (in every sense!)
I mean there was so little time and the malls are endless....every female gene instinctively knew that those lovely pair of shoes had to be mine, that little dress had to have a new home!
OKAY. apart from all that girly gushing. I must say that, Malaysia has a certain charm about it. Our hotel was at the Bukit Bintang district and it was at the heart of pubs, 24hr stores, hotels, eateries and malls. Even as a bystander at one of the street brawls, which by the way left a pretty dent in the getaway car - i knew that Malaysia had me sold on its culture. Its so diverse, unrestricted (think funky, goth, hip hop fashion trends, funky open air pubs, unending rows of food streets.. I think i didn't explore it all yet) Just a whiff and I'm hooked!
They even had our equivalent of Bugis street there, though selling different wares (think LV, prada, omega, burberry at pasar malam prices) and of course your latest blockbuster movies at a few ringgit:D
mmm...I think i saw season 2 of Heroes...
Going back again in MAY on my birthday! and I can't wait, the next time, definitely longer and better.
Till then, I'm counting down... three months to go! three months to save!
Time to clear the closet, for new additions!
