If you're such a student in Britain, you'll get a 7.30am phone call to get you to wake up, pack up and show up.
Up to 100 children a day are receiving these calls in an attempt to combat persistent truancy at a neighbourhood secondary school in Rotherham, a town in South Yorkshire, England.
The local council hired a private firm to take over the role of parents and remind the children with the phone calls that they need to prepare for class.
Follow-up calls are made to parents if the pupils fail to show up on time, reported Daily Mail.
Latest official figures show that more than 60,000 pupils nationwide skip lessons every day, the highest for 10 years.
Clifton Community Arts School, where the pilot scheme started, is a 'persistent absentee school' where at least 9percent of pupils miss one day or more out of five.
The cost of the alarm call scheme, which started in September, has not been disclosed.
But a spokesman for Rotherham Council said initial feedback suggested the calls had been 'very good in improving attendance'.
