SUNDAY. bright sunny skies. clear and blue...

Perfect for a day out!

Visited the Alliance Francaise Gallery at Newton. This exhibition (Essence Insenees), featured 13 international artists who created a sculpture or a perfume bottle in an effort to replicate a scent in a 3D form. Free admission!:)

"Magic Mushroom" perfume

"LIGHT" perfume

"Burning desire" perfume

"Between you and me" perfume

A strip of Cedar is encapsulated in teardrop encasing floating near the bottom of the bottle.

Next stop, the ARTS museum formerly SJI school:
the pretty courtyard fountain...

Admission is $4 for students. $8 for adults.

The main highlights: "Engraving of the World- the Chalcography collection" flown across continents from the Lourve Museum.

Saw a replica of the famous Mona Lisa, the battle of La Rochelle, a Celestial map, gardens at Versailles labyrinth with which included 39 statues representing the fables of Aesop, crests and a very detailed maps.

It was a feast for the eyes.

Unfortunately, photography wasn't allowed.

Later, that evening...

Chanced by Liang and Juwita's awesome performance at the waterfront, esplanade. They flew in from across the causeway.

They are pretty good. Some self-composed songs and a couple of old, new favourite tunes. They've got a great band and good vocals too. Pretty nice. Look out for Juwita on MTV Asia:)
