the National Musuem is THE place to be, once again for CDA class we went down again and Dear Ms Nga paid for all our registration fee for the Day of the Figurines game! It's like habbo hotel only you play it real-time with your handphones and alot of imagination:D

A reflection of the town...upside down.

Day Of The Figurines is part board game, part secret society. The game is set in a fictional town that is littered, dark and underpinned with steady decay.

1,000 players- the figurines are only about 2cm tall! so teenY, tINy (:
We all had to choose one.
You can imagine, we had girls, boys, men, women. bikini-clad babes, men in suits, mothers, girls in pink dresses, backpackers, contructions workers, tuxedo suited men, even one carrying a lifeguard in varying poses and colours. I had a hard time...
But I found the perfect one!

Yes, your eyes do not deceive you one of them is called Adolf! haha!

I called my figure Maximilano. For fun. The name just popped out of nowhere. haha.

The Cemetery!! creeepy...

I love this cut-out of the GASOmeter:D

A fun looking installation for us to PLAY with.

YES, its all detachable and magnetic.

Cool huh??

Let your creativity run WILD

I just adore this vintage cast iron staircase that reminds me of old haunted houses. The last time I went for the ghost tour at the museum they told us this staircase has a pretty good history of supernatural sightings and presence. muahhaha! We even got a chance to walk up, BUT alas' now they chained it up!:(

the railings at the lobby, the cast iron designs were so intricately shaped and curled, I had to get a picture of em'!

This installation is called Contour Manouvere Lamps. These red lamps have different showtimes in different patterns and designs. They swing back and forth like pendulums, very very pretty sight.

And our good Ol' Merlions interpretation by David Chan.

Say hello to mama Merlion and baby Merly! He looks quite cuddly.

hear, hear! this is the future hairstyle for next season's-FALL!
The side exhibits even have the food they eat and the evolution of this historic mammal. hehe.

Look UP>.<

more pretty cut out laterns that hang above Mr Merlion's lair.

Volunteer at the Museum anyone?

Had lunch with Grace and went for dance rehearsals at the CC! Few more days to go!:):)
