The Visit to our Naitonal Musuem was a BLAST!
It was far from dull, boring and stuffy.
In fact, we had a really good time.
Our tour guide was a bubbly, funky girl.

The architecture of the National museum has been preserved with a Roman pillar columns and neo-planian style stucture and modern aspects in the new wing.
The first sight that greets you is this lovely dome... in coloured stained glass. The beautiful noon sun really brought out the myriad of colours and patterns.

Lucky us got access to the balcony where we had this view of the fish-scale- dome against the city backdrop.

This is the iceberg is part of the SIngapore Biennalle exhibits...
This metal-lattice structure looks like a strawberry too!

It's so cool... Up close...

And from different angles... it creates different forms...

Dawn, Sha and me!

The divide separating the NEW wing from the old musuem.
Another Biennalle exhibit at the concourse.
I love the way skylights allow natural sunlight in.
And when it started raining you could watch the raindrops making patterns on the glass above. so pretty.

The Art of Cartier exhibition!! Diamonds. Bling.bling. Oh, the beautiful baubles worth 100's of millions of dollars.
Something I probably wouldn't be able to afford this lifetime. haha.
Free entry!
This chilli pepper is about 2metres high!
Behind it, Fort canning.

After that Elina and I went to visit Yushaa's mum at Tan Tock Seng hospital.
Hope her mum gets better soon!
Don't tire yourself out Yushaa, you need to take care of yourself too!

Dreaming of a new day ahead!;
