My heart goes out to blogger Mr Brown who's column has been deemed too explicit by the -good- government. All I can say, is I'm glad that there are people who are not taking it lying down.
DMA's formal presentation is over. Phew ! what a relief. The Q&A session was tricky. My hats off to my group mates who had to answer.
Aye! Finally, caught the Pirates of the Caribbean. It's mighty good, I must say. The ending left me hanging off my seat!! arrggh! Can't wait for the sequel! *warning spoilers ahead...:D
Captain Jack sparrow mentioned Singapore in the Curse of the black pearl and in this sequel the dead man's chest: Singapore was mentioned quite a few times. Bothered me quite a bit. It disturbed me enough to send me on a search: ta-da "A recent article in Empire magazine revealed a visit to the Singapore set which features in part of the movie." Ah ha! Okay so SINGAPORE is in the next movie! whoo!
Keira Knightly kissed Johnny Depp! nnooooo....
This movie has very cool sets and stunts & even more witty and sacarstic lines.
My personal favourites:
1. the crew hanging mid-air trapped in a ball
2. Johnny Depp tied to a pole made a wild escape
3.Commodor Vs Orlando Bloom on the wheel!
AND...
I caught ' Thank you for smoking' with Yushaa & Fat cat it's really good. I'll definitely watch it again on DVD. It's very entertaining and stimulating. The whole film was done very nicely! Comedy and drama in one, at the same time it covers the sensitive issue of smoking. Why is it wrong to smoke? why can't people make their own choices? Why you should never sleep with a reporter- it could ruin your career.haha!
