Time for PoPcorn!
Memoirs Of a Geisha was an excellent movie for some one who hasn't read the book. It certainly changed my view of a geisha. Initially like most, I assumed geisha's were prostitutes. But I give them credit for the painstaking years of training and sacrifices they had to give up to attain the perfection of a geisha. You have to be both talented in music, dance and conversation. oOoh wow.
Their platforms would make baby Spice envious.
The exorcism of Emily rose was an excellent movie that weaved between the present and the past seamlessly. For those, who do not believe in possesion & have no religion. This may stir a sense of need, that we are indeed just as vunerable to the darker unknown forces of Lucifer. It was no easy feat for the Jennifer Carpenter(Emily Rose) who had to contort herself and her facial expressions during the filiming.
The movie is however based on the true story of Anneliese Michel, a young German Christian woman who died in 1976 after unsuccesful attempts to cure her from the alleged state of demonic possession with the means of psychotropic drugs.
Dreaming of a new day ahead!;
Just making my way through the crowd
